We manufacture split shingles in larch wood, which have the advantage of being extremely resilient and durable. Larch wood is one of the most durable types of wood to be found in the Alps because it is one of the most resinous of trees. By splitting, rather than sawing our shingles we extend their durability;
i.e. because the wood is divided in the direction of the grain, it remains in sound condition. Just as no tree is identical to any other, wood shingles also vary, depending on where and at what height the tree grew. In the manufacture of wood shingles we use only larch wood.
